this just jumped up and bit me. i tried a whole bunch of different things in this pic.

in the story concept i've had spinning in my head for the better part of a decade, Lillith's fall from grace was symbolized by the cutting of her hair.

so, when the reincarnation of Adam dies in her arms, her 'righteous' want for vengence gives her momentary absolution. hence the long hair and the wings sprouting from it.
