Boring background time.

She's a vampire's Menchi. An emergency food suppy.

Due to careful breeding and genetic selections she's a blood factory. Her body produces red blood cells and plasma like a machine. So much, that she must be carefully "drained" every two days, or her body breaks out into serious bruises. She bursts from the inside.

Her body is by no means perfect. Like all specialized breeds, she has health problems that can be life threatening. Due to the incredibly unbalanced ratio of red blood cells to white, and the loss of whites at each required draining, she is very easily preyed upon by disease. But also do the the regenerative properties of those same red cells, she recovers quickly. She will be deathly ill from a cold for a week, then get out of bed as if nothing happened.

Her body has disproportionately large lungs, kidneys, and heart to help cope with the red cell production. This has sacrificed room for her intestines, and female sex organs (in order to still have room for more important organs such as the liver). She has less intestinal tract than the average person. Meaning that her body does not process food terribly well, and she must eat more to gain the same amount of nutrition.

But she is smart. That must be given to her. Though, counter to my usual characters, she's neither stubborn nor strong willed. She's easily intimidated, and allows herself to be ordered around out of survival instinct (you try saying "No.. I don't really feel like letting you chew on my neck tonight, Mr. Vampire." I don't even think adding 'please' will help you much).

Btw, that's a blood bag there. Not a lamp. And the thick part of the stand at the top is where a pump is hidden. Blood is actually being sucked out of her by the small machine... not delivered to her.
